Hey BarzzLocks here, its been a long night... And of course I'm having trouble getting to sleep again! But I'm not going to let that get me down because I have some tips that help me get the sleep I need each night!
For starters, I know this goes against everything I say but COOKIES and milk of course and its not bad I swear! Wanna know why? Because obviously you choose the low-fat low-sugar ones! There's always a solution to being healthy! Cookies are of course okay in moderation- but in order to get the Tryptophan in milk to get where it needs to go in your brain you need carbs to get it there!
Second- breathing through your nostrils slowly and steadily; a typical breathing exercise to help calm and reduce blood pressure. Believe me!
Third I can make a worry list, which is a list of things I have to do the next day so I can forget about it until the next morning because going over a to-do list in bed is often a leading case in insomnia and can have you stressing all night about whats yet to even come!
Calm down. Take a breather and relax. There's always tomorrow!
In conclusion, sleep is essential for my body to function in every day to day life and is very important for my health and mood. Make sure you get your rest everyone- wake up with determination and go\to bed with satisfaction! #StayMotivated with MattBarzz!
